Course Overview
UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking is a new UK product marking used for goods being placed on the market in Great Britain and came into effect on 1st January 2021. Although the changes from the existing CE Marking requirements are minor, it is important for all machine manufacturers to be aware of these differences and the likely changes to the new legislation in the future.
Euchner offers a one-day course covering the UKCA Certification according to the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008, including the CE to UKCA transition. This course covers the contents of the regulations and the implementation of harmonised standards. On successful completion of the course delegates will have an appreciation of the legal framework involved and an understanding of the route to conformity.
